[bfprog] [bf1942] Python Documentation (fwd)

Wow, this is sure a cannonical "good news/bad news" story, isn't it?

"The good news is that there is BF2 Python documentation, and here it is!"

"The bad news is that it says almost nothing that you didn't already
figure out yourselves."

There are some good insights in it, so I for one am grateful they
released this material, but I can't fathom anyone thinking Python would
in any way, shape, or form, be "outside the scope of modding". I mean,
100% of the code for any new Game Play Mode would be in Python, right?
I've had conversations with several people about innovative features
they'd like to include in mods they're working on that could *only* be
implemented in Python.

Still, given that the community has already figured out so much about
how BF2 Python works, with lots of people writing up their findings at
bf2.fun-o-matic.org, a full set of documentation isn't as important as
it once was. It would really, really be nice/forward-looking/good
customer relations/etc. for someone from DICE to at least periodically
look at the "Mysteries", "Feature Requests", and "Bugs" pages of the
wiki, though, and make comments on what they find there to help us along.

Hello DICE? Please?
